Heidi Tolliver-Nigro's Statement of Faith

What does this have to do with Digital Printing Reports? Nothing. But most people who have met me know that I am very open about my Christian faith.

For those who have not met me in person, here it goes:

I believe that Jesus Christ came to earth as God in the flesh, that he died and rose from the grave three days later, and that his death on the cross paid the sin debt that, otherwise, I would have to pay.

By accepting his sacrifice, I believe that my sins are forgiven and I stand before God clean, reconciled, and may call him "Abba" Father, both now and for eternity.

I believe that Jesus' sacrifice is the only hope for the brokenness of humanity.

I believe that God created the universe ex nihilo — out of nothing — and preserves it by his gracious hand.

I believe the universe is 14.7 billion years old and that living things experience micro-evolution, but not macro-evolution.

I believe that the Christian faith can withstand any intellectual scrutiny, and far from being the faith of fools, is the reasonable conclusion to be reached by intellectually honest examination.

I suppose some might think me nuts. How can a thinking person really believe all that? Feel free to ask me!
